The Horror!
As I was driving to work this morning, I chanced upon this little girl, probably 7 or 8 years old, walking herself to school! All by her lonesome self! There was no adult to walk with her!
Yes, she is walking in a housing area but the danger of a little girl walking by herself! WHAT HORROR!
I cannot imagine which parent would bring themselves to allow their child to walk to school alone. All sorts of things could happen to this child! The traffic on that road is quite high in the morning and yet it is still one of the quieter parts of Taman Desa. The child could have knocked down or worst still, kidnapped. I mean, seriously, it's better for your child to cry now then you crying for a lifetime if something bad happens. Better safe than sorry.
I just couldn't help but hate the parents for not accompanying the girl. It's stupid! STUPID PARENTS!
Parents & parents to be: Please don't be careless and let your child go anywhere alone. Take the time to walk with them. If you can't do it, then get someone to help you. And please don't say you don't have time. There is time if you make time.

How horrid! But at the same time, I don't think this beats the stupid motorcyclist who had his wifebehind him, and TWO kids SLEEPING in between them. That's just plain stupid la.
but then some might not have the money to send their kids. maybe they work real early before the kids go to school. i dont know la, but i suppose there must be some reason behind it.
